Pre-treatment and Opening: Bag Opener (OC/OB)
The first critical step. We guarantee 95% opening without damaging the internal materials, preparing the stream for optimal sorting and drastically reducing initial operating costs.

Stabilization and Drying: BIODRUM (BD)
This biomechanical reactor reduces moisture and breaks down organic matter, allowing recoverable materials to come out “clean” and ready for sale or processing, while also generating high-quality CSR.

Ballistic Sorting: SB Series
Precision separation. It divides the stream into three fractions (2D, 3D and fines) based on density and shape. It is the perfect ally to maximize the performance of the plant’s optical sorters.

Industrial Screening: Stationary Trommel (TR)
The robustness needed for day-to-day operation. It classifies by size with interchangeable meshes, removing bulky items and recovering the organic fraction with minimal energy consumption.

Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) originates from household and commercial activity and consists of a highly heterogeneous mix of materials. Its composition varies significantly depending on location and socioeconomic development, combining a processable organic fraction with recyclable inorganic materials.
In our MBT plants, we analyze each stream to size facilities that maximize the recovery of valuable materials and the production of CSR. The ultimate goal is to drastically reduce the reject sent to landfill, turning an environmental liability into a profitable asset for the customer.

Plastics (PET, HDPE, film), ferrous and non-ferrous metals, paper and cardboard.
Organic Fraction
Prepared for composting or anaerobic digestion processes.
Solid Recovered Fuel (CSR)

Operation
The SB ballistic separator operates via an inclined ramp with oscillating paddles, driven by two synchronized crankshafts.
The material is deposited onto the moving ramp; rolling elements (3D) bounce toward the lower part of the equipment, while flat elements (2D) are propelled toward the upper discharge.
Simultaneously, fines pass through the perforations in the paddles (mechanical screening), aided by vibration that removes organic matter adhesion from recoverable materials. An adjustable ventilation system enhances the separation of the light fraction.
