ISD Inert Separator Drum

Correct management of the fine fraction is decisive for the quality of final sub-products and the protection of downstream equipment. The Bianna Inert Separator has been designed to process material flows with reduced grain size, specializing in the effective extraction of heavy and inert elements (stones, glass, rubble) that accompany organic or recoverable fractions after a primary screening process.

Precision in fines separation. Extract inerts, purify your flow, and increase the value of your resulting material.

The HA 1416 Inert Separator bases its architecture on a high-resistance rotary drum. The main block consists of a drum with a diameter of 1,010 mm and a width of 1,800 mm. It features an optimized inlet opening of 400 x 1,600 mm for the correct reception and distribution of the material to be treated. It is a compact yet extremely robust piece of equipment, with a structural weight of around 4,300 kg. The drum traction is provided by an efficient motorization with an installed power of 7.5 kW.

Main Applications within a Plant

Precise cleaning of fine material

  • Trommel undersize treatment: Its natural strategic location is in the collection lines under large sorting trommels. It directly receives the fine flow (undersize) to clean it and separate the heavy inert part from the rest of the organic or recoverable material.

Especificaciones técnicas

  1. Infeed point

Material reception area where the material stream to be separated is received

  2. Densimetric classification

Separation of materials according to their density using a rotary drum, distinguishing heavier materials from lighter ones

  3. Heavy material outlet

Discharge point where the heavier materials are extracted from the main stream

  4. Light material outlet

Collection point for less dense materials, facilitating their recovery and subsequent processing

Operation

Mechanical separation for fine fractions

The reject material or fine screening enters in a metered manner through the 400 x 1,600 mm feed inlet. Inside, the 1,010 mm diameter rotary drum comes into action. Driven by the 7.5 kW motor, the continuous rotation of the drum subjects the waste to a mechanical action that effectively breaks up and separates heavy inert materials from lighter or adhered fractions, discharging impurities through their corresponding outlets.
