At Bianna, we are proud to announce a new chapter in our trajectory in France.
Starting this month, our subsidiary in the neighboring country begins a key stage for our growth, with the relocation of the Bianna France headquarters to Montpellier and the appointment of Alberto Hernández Minguito as the new General Manager of Bianna France.
Bianna has been operating in France since 2014, initially based in Bordeaux and later in Carcassonne, and has since developed major projects in the field of waste treatment.
This step reinforces our commitment to the French market, a territory where we have operated since 2014 and where we have developed benchmark projects in waste treatment and recovery.

A firm commitment to proximity and growth
We have chosen this strategic location for its excellent connections and its potential as an operational hub. The new offices—located at Henri Becquerel / 222 rue d’Odin—will house our technical and commercial team, allowing us to offer a more agile, close, and professional service.
This move responds to a clear desire: to be closer to our customers, improve service quality, and expand our technical and commercial capacity. We want to provide stronger support to our local partners, from the design phase to plant operation.

Leadership with industry knowledge and international vision
The person who will lead this new phase is not a stranger to us. Alberto Hernández Minguito, an agricultural engineer with more than 25 years of international experience in the sector, assumes the general management of Bianna France.
His career in Europe and Latin America, along with his deep knowledge of the French market—where he has led projects in both the construction and operation of waste facilities—makes him the ideal profile for this challenge. Prior to joining us, Alberto held the position of Director of Treatment at Urbaser Environnement in France.
Her arrival has a clear objective: to lead Bianna’s expansion in France, build a solid technical and commercial team, and strengthen the bond with our clients through a local, committed and highly specialized approach.
Projects that drive us
France has been, and continues to be, a key territory in our strategy. Some recent projects that illustrate our capacity and commitment in the country are:
OEKOTRI Sorting Center – Saint-Thibéry (Oekomed project)
With a capacity of 30,000 tons per year, this selective waste sorting plant—inaugurated in 2023—is a benchmark in the Hérault region. Bianna participated in its development by providing mechanical separation, optical sorting, and recyclable material packaging technologies. A project valued at over 50 million euros that boosts the local circular economy.

JOUBERT Project – Saint Jean d’Angely
Currently in the delivery phase, this project reflects Bianna’s ability to offer tailor-made energy recovery solutions. It involves a new 9.3 MW thermal oil boiler fueled by wood waste from the JOUBERT group plant, which specializes in plywood manufacturing. An installation designed to increase efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Clear strategy, solid future
This new stage in France is part of a strategy based on four pillars:
- Adapting our solutions to the local market, with modular, sustainable, and innovative technologies.
- Consolidating customer relationships through a closer presence and personalized technical support.
- Promoting energy recovery plants with SRF, transforming waste into useful energy.
Offering a professional, agile, and local service, with our own team and reinforced capabilities.
Next stop: Pollutec 2025
We want to share this new stage with the entire industry ecosystem. Therefore, we will be present at the next edition of Pollutec (Lyon, October 7-10, 2025), the major European meeting for environmental solutions. We will have a location befitting the importance of the occasion;
Hall 2 Stand 08.
Our commercial team will be led by Alberto Hernández Minguito, André Gomes, Stephane Fosse, and Jacques Vie.
It will be an excellent opportunity to talk, share experiences, and explore new synergies with public and private operators and all stakeholders in the sector.
At Bianna France, we are opening a stage of consolidation and growth, with the firm purpose of continuing to provide sustainable, efficient, and high-value solutions for waste treatment and recovery in France. We remain committed to the energy transition, the circular economy, and, of course, the people who make it possible.
